How to Transform Scratch on a DJ Controller
The transformer scratch is by far my favorite scratch of all time because it can be so funky with the right movements and variation. Learning this scratch will take time and the right mastery of your fundamental scratching such as forwards, babys, and stabs. 🎵Where I Download My Music, Acapellas, Instrumentals, etc. (Use Coupon Code “DJCARLO” for a Huge Discount) Link: https://crateconnect.com/subscribe 👑All The Gear I Use: https://amzn.to/4cRaKsO ►DDJ-FLX4 (Amazon): https://amzn.to/3F0hiYs ►DDJ-FLX4 (Guitar Center) [Best Deal]: https://guitar-center.pxf.io/21o2d0 EVERYTHING I own to DJ! ►https://www.amazon.com/shop/djcarloatendido DOWNLOAD MY ENTIRE SCRATCH SERIES! ►https://sellfy.com/p/qw9r/ ►GET ACCESS TO THESE TRACKS & MY SECRET TUTORIALS & MORE! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnO0dcSgfp18PDxH5oNVpKQ/join DJ Equipment I Use: ► Best Headphones I use for daily gigs: https://amzn.to/2GevKv9 ► Speakers I use at home for practicing and DJ’ing: https://amzn.to/2GgLNbL ► Backpack I use for DJ’ing: https://amzn.to/2IVGtfL ► Add on controller for DJ’ing on the go (Serato): https://amzn.to/2us2jUV ► Best Budget Turntables EVER: https://amzn.to/2GgQNNJ ► Best Budget DJ Mixer EVER: https://amzn.to/2uoCPYJ ► Best Turntables EVER: https://amzn.to/2IXT0iO ► Best DJ Mixer EVER: https://amzn.to/2Gf9Xni Best cheap 4 deck DJ controller: ►https://amzn.to/3Zo4PYW ►https://guitar-center.pxf.io/DKYB35 ► Script: Now there are 4 steps on how to do the transformer scratch. The first one is this: Position the crossfader to the off position, in this case, I scratch on the right side so I’ll position my crossfader on the left side Next we want to make sure that our platter hand is right before the sample, so that when we scratch, we scratch the beginning of the sample. Now we’re gonna scratch. The third step is that we wanna move the platter forward and at the same time do 2 taps on the crossfader as we reach the end of the sample. The last step is that we’ll bring back the platter to the start of the sample and at the same time tap twice again and now we’re back where we started and that’s it! Once you've learned it and feel confident in it, try altering the pitches of the scratch, and in that way you can make your scratch sound more unique but more importantly, funky! Scratching on a controller is a little different than scratching on a CDJ or turntable, but it doesn't matter what you use, as long as you can use it. ___ Follow Me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/djcarloatendido Twitter: https://twitter.com/djcarloatendido Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/djcarloatendido Snapchat: djcarloatendido
