There are many different types of bat detectors utilised by ecologists worldwide. In this video we are running through three types of heterodyne detectors and how to use them.
Bat logger fact: In the video Elliott mentions how bat loggers are another heterodyne detector, they do record in heterodyne but they can also record in full spectrum!
