How to Use a Loop Alien (Updated) After testing many different options since my last video, this has proven to be the easiest way to use the Loop Alien by far. If you are unaware of what a loop alien is, this is a small device used to apply a 3:1 ratio of tension to help get your hammock tarp tight. I purchased mine from Ripstop by The Roll.
