How to use regular expressions in Google Forms?

By using regular expressions you can set conditions on the Google form , so that information is gathered in the desired format. As of now Google permits use of regular expression in 4 types of questions – text, paragraph text, checkboxes Grid. Does not contain: It’s used to set a permanent character or word that can’t be entered when the form is live. Matches: It’s use to apply a set of regular expressions for a form to provide a specific condition. Does not match: It’s used to avoid a set of regular expressions for a form. There are no fixed questions or no fixed answers for use of regular expression in data validation. The one to be used depends upon unique nature of question type, so the best strategy is to learn the basics and then evolve to make customized regex.
