How to Use Reverb: Convolution vs Algorithmic Reverb

In this video I talk about how to use reverb with orchestral sample libraries. While this video is focused on orchestral work, the key reverb concepts apply to any genre of music and recording. I first discuss some basic concepts related to room sound, acoustics and what reverb is. I then go over the two main types of digital reverb: convolution reverb and algorithmic reverb - also reviewing their respective pros and cons. I then show how to use reverb with an orchestral sample library as well as how to blend various reverbs and room sounds.
