A great alternative to doing a button, a snap is easy to add to any project. Sew on snaps are just as easy to put on as a flat button. Pretty much all you do is locate where you want to put them on and hand sew through the holes. Sew on snaps should not be used on heavy duty projects. In which case you should use heavy duty snaps.
