Hips are vital to our ability to throw, but learning how to use them can be tough, especially if it doesnt come natural to you. In this video I attempt to breakdown how the hips work in the throwing motion to help deepen your understanding of the role of your lower body in the throwing motion. For a long time I didn’t understand how to use my hips properly & nobody knew how to teach me correctly. It made me an inconsistent thrower. I know what it’s like to throw without using your hips & what it feels like to flow from the ground up through the ball, & this video contains some of the main ideas I focused on to begin consistently getting through my hips while throwing.
