To write your first scientific paper is a challenge, and many aspiring authors have a rather vague idea of where they are heading or how to get there.
Here we are in 3 short and concise lectures providing a simple roadmap and practical suggestions that will help you to facilitate your journey and reach your destination in an easy and effective manner.
In the current part (part 1) we will focus on basic concepts and the philosophy behind a scientific paper.
In part 2 we will move on to the practical details and implementation, while saving what you need to know on communication and collaboration to part 3.
This lecture will be included in the WSSFN Course Series in Functional Neurosurgery (https://youtu.be/BctqPkrmfXI?si=iF2moEokxfiHQ9QA), given in collaboration with the Stereotactic Academy (stereotactic.org) and the ESSFN, EANS, INS WFNS and a number of other societies.
