How to Zero Swing Turnaround
Some credits and minor editor notes: ► Nearly all the info for this video was compiled from the punch section of the DK cookbook, written by da and available for your reading at cookbook.gg. Huge shoutouts to da for doing a ton of the legwork compiling information on this and making it publicly accessible, and be sure to check out the cookbook if reading about topics like this is something you're interested in. ► Neutral-B startup and loop are referred to as SpecialNStartup and SpecialNLoop in most frame data references. Neutral-B was used in this video as a way to quickly introduce the animation, but does not reflect how this animation is typically referenced. ► The terms cancel and turnaround are used a bit loosely within this video; zero-swing and single-swing cancels merely involve cancelling the animation after 0 or 1 swings, and turnarounds involve pairing these cancels with b-reversing in order to turn around mid-air. ► As shown in the overlay text (but not the narration), Z can be used to perform cancels in addition to L and R.
