In this video, I'll show you a really simple recipe for making traditional British flapjacks. Note that in North America, the term flapjack usually mean a type of pancake. This is a recipe for British flapjacks which are sweet oat bars.
This recipe is so simple that even a novice in the kitchen like me can make it, and it takes minimal preparation time.
Many people like their flapjacks to be crunchy. If so, simply bake for a bit longer than I've done in the video. For a gooey flapjack, bake for a bit shorter.
