TOZ-34 is a Soviet double-barreled shotgun designed by N. I. Korovyakov and produced by the Tula Arms Plant (Tulsky Oruzheiny Zavod) since 1964. It is an over-and-under hammerless smoothbore shotgun with one barrel above the other. The barrels are chrome-plated and have chokes at the muzzle end. including the standard TOZ-34, TOZ-34E (with an ejector), TOZ-34ER (with a rubber recoil pad), and TOZ-34R (also with a rubber recoil pad). The shotgun received the golden medal at the Leipzig Trade Fair in 1965 and another gold medal in Paris in 1972. The TOZ-34 was widely used for hunting and sport shooting in the Soviet Union and was also exported to other countries. Despite plans to replace it with the TOZ-84 in the late 1980s, production continued due to economic challenges in the post-Soviet era. More than one million TOZ-34 shotguns have been produced.
