I have finally got around to putting some new rings into this engine to try and stop it from spitting so much oil and blowing smoke. I’ve adjusted the oil pressure down to as low as it can go which is around 10 psi but I’m still getting a bit of smoke blowing out on one side, at least I’m not getting any more oil spraying out the exhaust.
Checkout the last part of the video which was the last time I ran the engine before putting in the new rings.
I’ve also switched back to a trusty Velleman ignition circuit as the TM6 kept on frying the transistor.
Also I’ve added the advance linkage from the carby to the dizzy.
