HUGE TASK! Organizing Lego bricks.

Man I wish I've had a dad like me :D You know that feeling when you are building bricks with your kids, majority of the time goes for searching parts from that huge box or pile you have on your floor. What your kids want you to do, well, search parts for them when you got your own bad ass truck or plane coming :) We figured a solution and did a major task and organized all of our parts. I bought small plastic bins from sale, they were super cheap and there's four different sizes. I use these bins to organize screws and things in my workshop. I planned my plywood trades so that the bins would fit snug both ways. I see a future project of building a dresser type cabinet for the plywood trays that hold the Lego bins. That goes inside the house and have wheels under it. For now the bricks live in the workshop shelve. We did this movie a little differently. It's a stop motion movie accomplished with a ton of pictures. It's nothing professional but believe me, it took a lot of time. You can see some familiar characters on the movie and we had a ton of fun with my kids doing this. The plywood trays has slots so it can be divided to separate sections to store different type of bricks. The biggest bricks are divided by color and size and smaller stuff by shape.
