This place really comes to life after dark providing a superb kaleidoscopic spectacle . Hull always seems to me to be more colourful at night than any other fair . I don't know if it's the rides , the layout or the location . Maybe the absence of tall buildings illuminating the sky helps to create the jet black background which highlights the showmen's machines so beautifully . Filmed on Monday 8th October 2018.
