This masterclass introduces you to what it’s like to be working as a user experience (UX) designer or in design-led innovation and strategy using design thinking approaches. We will take you through what is unique to design thinking and introduce you to some of the human-centred design methods used for creating digital products and services. Design thinking techniques such as sketching for rapid ideation, reframing the problem space, and thinking through making and breaking are illustrated through examples and a case study drawn from student projects in our degree programs.
