Hummus 2 cans chickpeas (garbanzos), liquid drained 2 large garlic cloves 1/3 cup tahini 1/3 cup olive oil 1 tsp cumin powder juice of 1 lemon 1/4 cup water salt to taste 1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients except the water. Pulse, then scrape the sides. Add water then blend for a few minutes until smooth. You can add a bit more water to reach desired consistency. Blend longer if you want it extra creamy, or keep it slightly coarse if preferred. 2. To serve, spread the hummus on a plate, drizzle with olive oil then sprinkle with smoked paprika and chopped parsley. Best enjoyed with warm pita bread. #Hummus #HungryMomCooking
