Today I'm at Hunter Mountain W2/GC-002 in the Catskills. This video is fairly short and not too exciting. Unbeknownst to me there was a solar flare just as I started my activation. I still got a valid activation, but it was slow going. This is the highest fire tower in the Catskills, and it was very cold and windy at the summit so I didn't stick around and try to get more contacts. 2m FM seems to be the activation saver at the top of these mountains since HF radio has been in the tank lately.
