Hybrid Modeling in Solid Edge | Synchronous to Ordered Workflow Explained

In this video, we demonstrate the Hybrid Modeling workflow in Solid Edge, combining Synchronous Technology and Ordered (history-based) modeling in a single design process. The workflow starts with fast and flexible Synchronous modeling, allowing rapid concept creation and direct geometry editing. After the initial design is stabilized, we transition into Ordered mode to continue development with structured, feature-based control. This hybrid approach enables engineers to balance speed and design intent—making it ideal for both early-stage concept design and detailed engineering refinement. Key highlights: - Synchronous modeling for fast concept creation - Design intent control during early development - Transition into Ordered modeling for structured feature creation - Feature-based refinement for manufacturing-ready design - End-to-end hybrid workflow in Solid Edge Software used: Solid Edge This video is part of a workflow series showing modern CAD approaches for faster and more flexible product development.
