Hyperhidrosis Q&A | The Center for Hyperhidrosis
Bri from The Center for Hyperhidrosis answers the top questions we receive as a surgery center treating Palmar and Plantar Hyperhidrosis [Excessive Sweating of the Hands and Feet] After a lifetime of living with excessive sweating, the idea of being free from it can feel impossible. At The Center for Hyperhidrosis, our team is dedicated to making what once felt like a dream, a reality. Let’s take a look at the procedures we offer: ETS – The Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy is a 45-minute, minimally invasive, outpatient procedure for patients who experience sweaty hands (palmar hyperhidrosis). Small incisions are made in the chest and the nerve is clamped at the appropriate level. The lungs are never deflated. Underarm sweating can also be improved during this procedure if desired. ELS – The Endoscopic Lumbar Sympathectomy is a 90-minute, minimally invasive, outpatient procedure for patients who experience sweaty feet (plantar hyperhidrosis). Three small incisions are made on the sides of the abdomen and the nerve is clamped at the appropriate level. Patients traveling from out of state can typically fly home the day after surgery, while international patients can travel two days after. Most patients return to work or school within 2–3 days. A precise technique with a 99.2% long-term success rate is changing lives every day. 📞 Call 310-557-3037 to schedule your complimentary phone consultation with Dr. Basseri, or message us here on Instagram to connect with a patient educator — a former patient who can share their personal experience. We look forward to helping you take the next step. #hyperhidrosis #excessivesweating #hyperhidrosistreatment
