Hypermedia & HTMX - A Different Approach To Full-Stack Development

Building modern web applications doesn’t need to be complicated. In this workshop, we’ll explore how hypermedia concepts and the HTMX library can be used to build dynamic web applications with less code, less complexity, and most importantly, less JavaScript. HTMX is a library that lets you access modern browser features directly from HTML, minimizing the need for JavaScript. It’s versatile - working with any back-end framework. Paired with Flask on the back-end, we’ll be using HTMX to build a fully-featured application with remarkably little code. Whether you’re experienced or new to web development, you’ll find HTMX a breath of fresh air.
