Dr. Judy got a new barn cat, Mr Tom. In this session, Dr. Judy introduces us to Tom who is a shy, feral, old skinny cat who has been rescued. Despite being fed, Tom remains extremely thin which led Dr. Judy to consider two possible issues. Either he is suffering with a kidney problem or he has Feline Hyperthyroidism. After examining Tom Dr. Judy does not believe he has a kidney issue but leans more to the hyperthyroidism diagnosis. In this session, Dr. Judy discusses several signs of Hyperthyroidism in cats along with three or four options available for treatment of this disease. (Recorded on 9/07/2021) Need more knowledge?
