In this video we estimate the difference in population means between two populations of interest. In many examples, we will consider the difference of the two populations to be equal to zero, suggesting that there is no difference between two populations. In my complete hypothesis test example, we collect data to try and determine whether or not using a calculator on an exam gives any noticeable advantage on an exam. Notice that this hypothesis test is extremely alike to the other hypothesis tests; we simply compute a test statistic and also look up a value in a table and compare them. That's it. This test is something one could expect to see in a typical course on statistics or data science, and would a sufficient refresher for a typical type of question on could see on the AP Statistics exam. #stats #statistics #estimate #estimation #difference #population #means #estimate the difference in population means #hypothesis #hypothesistest #hypothesistesting #dataanalysis #datascience #datavisualization #ai
