I can't feel

#lookingforthelight #mentalhealth I can’t feel that I have healed But I know the time I’ve spent has cleared my mind The pain in my brain no longer has to be sustained It has faded away There is no fear of being alone I’ve sat for months in my home It’s not my favorite thing to do But I don’t know what else to do without you I don’t feel much anymore But my feet pace the floor I walk back and forth to the door Looking, making sure I’m not dreaming Because I have no feeling I have been trying to do some healing I have always felt so much From nothing more than a touch I would cry at the thought of things when they die You could see my pain When I would hear her name But now I don’t know if I’ve healed I don’t know if I can even feel It has all faded away From the pain in my brain that I thought had sustained To the love in my heart that I had at the start It’s faded away to a place I can’t go To a place I don’t know It has left my mind iv been trying not to be unkind I don’t feel much anymore But my feet pace the floor I walk back and forth to the door Looking, and making sure I’m not dreaming Because I have no feeling I have been trying to do some healing I don’t know if I feel I have healed But I feel this is real the pain and the dark the quiet alone were i sit in my home I hope to find a spark hidden in the dark Hope that in time in my mind I’ll feel fine
