Rick Donald Lloyd passed away some time ago. He was a founding member of Dr.Smith, our friend, main lyricist and songwriter, brother in arms, artist , and author.
His creative energy took many forms, from his songs, drawings, paintings and animations.
Many people have commented about his abilities to use Microsoft Paint for Dr. Smith’s videos. Rick always said the video must have just the right amount of cheese.
Rick’s cancer was strong, killing his body in only 14 months. But his spirit lives on and is with us, among us, and above us all the time.
As much as he is missed by his band mates, his family misses him greatly.
