As a beginner artist, I never learned to draw faces and heads properly. So I decided to finally learn to draw pretty faces, and did a week long of face studies to learn how. Prior to this challenge, I had no experience with face studies or fundamentals in general, so learning what to study or draw was a challenge. I was surprised at how well the studies went, so I want to share my face and head studies! I went over the process on what materials I studied, such as using the loomis method, asaro head, and also drawing skulls in different angles. I also studied real life references and attempt to draw realism. Lastly, I did a couple of style studies in anime style to help aid my final drawing for the video.
I use the Tablet: Wacom CTL-4100 with Clip Studio Paint to draw on digital.
