Crystal-clear water, spooky fish, long hikes, and the hunt for giant wild rainbow trout—this day had everything. After covering miles of river and carefully stalking fish in ultra-clear water, we finally connected with a big rainbow using a double nymph rig. But the day didn’t stop there. Hours later, after struggling to find more fish, we stumbled into a deep hole loaded with trout… and the action absolutely exploded. We caught fish on streamers, nymphs, and even got fish looking at dry flies.
