I Left Eastern Orthodoxy For Anglicanism.

Many people don’t know this - I used to be Eastern Orthodox. Being surrounded by hypocrites, unfit clergy, lukewarm believers, nationalism and politics made me leave - not just Orthodoxy, but God as well. 4 years would pass before I would give God another chance - I met a believer who had shown me that there were true believers out there - just rare, hidden away in other provinces, far away from the capital. Her behavior sparked an interest and made me start questioning things - later on I’d be gifted a Bible as well, one of the many things she had done for me that would end up leading to me rethinking everything, slowly but surely. Some more time would pass and I would meet my wife, an evangelical "protestant" - setting off the chain reaction that would lead to both of us returning to God. From struggling with the scriptures to theology, church history and the fathers - we would end up back on the narrow road.
