Hello lovely people! This video has been a LONG time in the making - it's one of the biggest projects I've ever done! For my undergraduate major project, I decided to make my very own zine. I organised and led a community zine workshop and curated all of the artwork into a printed publication. It's been a journey, but I'm so proud of the final result! πŸ“’ Note: I do have a limited copy of physical zines left over! If you'd be interested in a giveaway, leave a comment below... ⏰ Timestamps: ⏰ 0:00 - Introduction 1:55 - BEFORE: Introduction to zine history and culture, background on the project 5:01 - THE PLAN: The evolution of my idea 8:31 - DURING: Preparing for the workshop, DIY zine supplies, running the workshop and collating the artwork 11:54 - ZINE TIME: Putting the zine together - I used InDesign but forgot to mention this! I also unbox the zine which is totes emosh 😭 16:30 - THE REVEAL: A flick through the zine itself! 17:12 - AFTER: Reflection on the project and ideas for the future. 🌈 Online version of the zine! 🌈 https://indd.adobe.com/view/325d4213-fb81-41f9-8c08-7790593f6176 Also a feedback form if you have thoughts (really helpful for my final report!): https://forms.gle/8ZVHFoFx1S6U3CAp6 πŸ’– Special thanks go to: πŸ’– .
