I See Elevens

There are moments in life when everything feels quiet… or heavy… or uncertain, and you just wish for something to let you know you’re not alone and you’re not off track. That’s where this song came from. “I See Elevens” was written out of that place of crying out How long, God? Where are You? and then slowly realizing… maybe He’s been answering all along, just not in the ways I expected. Sometimes it’s not thunder or lightning. Sometimes it’s small, repeating things you almost brush off. Little nudges. Patterns. Moments that make you pause and think, okay… that felt intentional. The Bible is actually full of moments like that: Gideon asking for confirmation and God answering through signs in Book of Judges Moses encountering God through something as unexpected as a burning bush in Book of Exodus The wise men being guided step by step by a star in Gospel of Matthew Not always loud. Not always obvious. But personal. Timely. Meaningful. I am in no way involved with numerology or anything else like that. You need to understand it's not about the numbers. It's about the fact that God knows that MY autistic brain LOVES number combinations and repeating patterns and He knows how to get MY attention! When they keep popping up at every point it causes me to pause and say "Oh! I see you, God! What do you want me to notice?" For you, it might be something different. A butterfly. A hummingbird. A lady bug. A certain scent. A song that pops up at EXACTLY that right moment. It's not about the sign itself... it's the cause to pause, to set aside whatever is yelling the loudest in your ear right now and ask what He wants you to hear instead. For me, this song holds that tension between desperation and hope, between silence and guidance, between breaking down and being gently led forward. If you’ve ever felt like you were searching for a sign… or wondering if God is still listening… He is.
