This may be my favourite video I've ever filmed. I stayed overnight in a luxury lion lodge. Which is something I've always wanted to do!
These experiences are always a bit of a risk, due to the fact you may not actually see much of the lions. But fortunately for me (and you) I saw a lot of the lions! And I saw them extremely close! Just a few inches away to be precise.
I will never forget what happened at 4:30am.. It was incredible. And felt more special knowing I was the only one seeing it.
I also had amazing sunshine throughout the entire stay and ended the experience with a safari drive.
As for the location, the lion lodge was inside the West Midlands safari park.
