ICAPGen Testing Language Requirements
NOTE: Thank you for your interest in genealogical accreditation! ICAPGen(SM) is currently updating all training videos. For updated information, please see the Guide to Applying for an Accredited Genealogist® Professional here (scroll to bottom of page for link): https://icapgen.org/become-accredited/ If accrediting in a region in which the primary language is not English, an accreditation candidate will be expected to accurately translate documents of genealogical significance from the primary language into English. For regions that have documents in multiple languages, candidates will be required to abstract information of genealogical value in the languages other than the primary language of the region. Learn more about these testing language requirements in this informative video. This presentation was given by Jenny Hansen, AG®.
