SCTx is Väderstad’s next generation of Sectional Control Technology, designed to enhance seeding accuracy and operational efficiency through advanced lookahead prediction and kinematic modeling. By utilizing an additional GPS receiver in combination with defined kinematic profiles, SCTx allows the control system to anticipate machine movement and more precisely manage opener on/off timing during headlands, curves, and complex field maneuvers. This improved predictive capability helps reduce overlap and misses, supports more accurate section control, and provides operators with a clearer, real-time representation of machine behavior in the iCon control app, resulting in more consistent seed placement and optimized input use.
