It uses x-ray videos to explain why food textures are changed and drinks are thickened to improve safety for people with chewing and swallowing problems. The video shows the endorsement of Speech Pathology Australia, Dietitians Association of Australia and the Institute of Hospitality in Healthcare for Australia’s transition to the IDDSI Framework and the resources developed to assist Australian implementation.
