2026-03-18 “if I could only fly” This is my newest song I have produced, written, and recorded. Although this song contains many of the elements from my previous songs, I have taken my multitrack layered editing to the next level. I may have to start referring to myself as a “recording artist”. I have tightened the stacked vocals, but also in this recording I have stacked and multi layered orchestral string sections. Although I am still recording only at 48khz bit rates, I am starting to achieve that lush big Hollywood production sound that I was looking for. There are over a thousand edit points that I have fused and placed together giving this song a smooth 5.1 ‘wide’ stereo surround sound and atmosphere. I am no “Hans Zimmer”, but I like the challenge. The autistic nerdiness in me was so excited six years ago when the company “spitfire audio” released the full “BBC symphony” sample library, ...because that is just the kind of guy I am lol.
