From NZ on Air Kiwi Hit Disc #13 liner notes "Igelese Ete is a Wellington composer/pianist and music graduate from Victoria University. He's also a church choirmaster, part-time model and hotel pianist. Groovalation started life as Tutufa'atasi (Meaning "standing together" or unity) and was written for the 1994 International Festival of the Arts' finale concert." Groovalation achieved sufficient commercial radio play to qualify for a NZOA Radio Hits funding rebate.
