Across two carefully crafted tracks, the EP captures a duality between introspective melody and unrelenting club energy. Speaking on the EP, Arfeli shares: “Places We Know is a special EP for me. It’s one where I allowed myself complete creative freedom and honesty. The title track reflects my deep connection to melodic arpeggios while maintaining the dark, raw energy that defines my sound — driven by those mechanical, almost robotic vocals.” While the title track leans into a cinematic atmosphere anchored by signature techno textures, “Stop” ventures into more experimental territory: “Stop stands out as one of the experimental pieces I’ve produced. It’s an honest snapshot of what I was feeling in the studio at that moment. The track experiments with a fusion of techno and mid-tempo, creating an unexpected blend that challenges genre boundaries. It’s a polarizing piece — you’ll either connect with it instantly or not at all. There’s no middle ground, and that’s exactly how I wanted it.”
