Fibrenamics’ applied innovation took the stage at Ignite Sessions 2025 ⚡ Under the theme “Inside Developments – From Knowledge to Competitiveness”, we brought together industry, public entities and the scientific community at the Porto Cruise Terminal in Leixões to showcase how knowledge is transformed into sustainable, smart and high-performance solutions. 🎤 The session opened with remarks by Raul Fangueiro, President of Fibrenamics, and featured keynote speeches by Paolo Bondavalli, Head of the Advanced Materials for Energy Programme at the EIC – European Innovation Council, and Silvia Garcia, Executive Board Member of ANI | National Innovation Agency. The Fibrenamics Igniters — Joana Antunes, Duarte Dias and Liliana Leite — presented the Sustainability, High Performance and Smart pillars, setting the stage for a dynamic roundtable discussion moderated by Frederico Mendes, with contributions from 🗣️ Albertina Reis (Riopele), Julio Grilo (Simoldes Group), Luis Laranjeira (Grupo Casais), Bruno Reis Figueiredo (Graphenest – Advanced Nanotechnology) and Colonel Arlindo Domingues (Portuguese Army).
