Ikea Hack: LACK Coffee Table
Easy and really effective Ikea LACK makeover to achieve a beautiful farmhouse style coffee table. I got this table (free!) from Facebook Marketplace, and I used Earthborn's EcoChic clay paint in the colour Woodsmoke to paint the base and the shelf. Then I got two whitewashed oak effect furniture panels from B&Q and attached them to the top of the table using GripFill adhesive and Gorilla wood glue. I finished off the painted base with Frenchic Finishing Coat to protect it from scuffs and that was it! You can support Holly's Design via Buy Me A Coffee, so I can spend more money on new paint colours and sandpaper and crazy bits of furniture (not coffee). https://www.buymeacoffee.com/hollysdesigns Check out https://www.instagram.com/hollys.design/ for more furniture flipping ideas, before and after shots, pieces for sale, and behind the scenes glimpses! Holly's Design was born out of a love for beautiful interiors and beautiful furniture. Having worked in interior design for several years, I saw the value in traditional, well made furniture that is built to last, over our increasingly throw away culture. When my partner and I bought our first house it was empty! Without the budget or the inclination for a massive shopping spree, I started updating old pieces that were kindly gifted to us, and finding pieces on their way to the tip that I could renovate. I loved upcycling them to suit our style, and I got so addicted I had to start selling my work to make room! And so Holly's Design was born! I hope you enjoy being a part of the journey, and thank you for watching and supporting my little venture.
