Taking a look at the gospel/folk tune “I’ll Fly Away” arranged for mandolin. Of course, it’s tailor made for the eight stringer. Here, we’ll look first at the basic melody and then at ways to embellish it with double stops and chords. On the COMANDOLIN Studio patreon page we’ll explore one more way to play the tune an octave up the neck with different chord voicings.
