Hello Dear learner Here, in this video we learn about basics of Illumina DNA sequencing, there are four steps we discussed. 1.Library preparation 2.Cluster generation 3.Sequencing by synthesis 4.Alignment & Data analysis Illumina sequencing relies on a technique called "Sequencing by Synthesis." In this step, fluorescently labeled nucleotides (A, T, C, G) are added to the clusters one at a time. When a complementary base pairs with the template DNA strand, it emits a fluorescent signal that is detected by a camera.
