Image-Based Lighting | 3D Graphics Overview

Image-Based Lighting (IBL) is a fantastic modern technique for quickly achieving realistic lighting in a scene. IBL takes real world colour and light intensity information, captured in a panoramic image, and uses it to illuminate 3D objects. In this lecture, we'll discuss how IBLs are created, as well as some technical information involving HDR imagery and bit depth.
