I’ve been binge-watching 1923 from the Yellowstone universe after finishing that original series, and I’ve been wanting to explore the others for a while now. I’m not gonna lie—it’s not an easy watch. Some parts hit hard. But the storytelling has kept me completely hooked. I really love Elsa from 1883 and Alex from 1923. Their character arcs feel similar in spirit—both driven by passion, courage, and a willingness to step into the unknown. But Alex’s journey, especially everything she endures to be with Spencer, feels even more intense… and in a lot of ways, relatable. I saw parts of myself in her—especially that deep pull to go after what you love or know is right no matter how uncertain or difficult the path may be. My Song “Wildfire” was written from that space.
