This interview was filmed in October 2014 and features rapper activist, Immortal Technique; in it we discuss hip hop as a tool for global activism.
In 2011 I began filming a documentary in an effort to build a movement I called "Lead the World". My aim was to empower artists from around the world to use their music and art to affect positive social change within their communities. This film is a labour of love –no funding, no team, just me, my camera, and a dream. As such, I haven't yet had the resources to finish the documentary so I am releasing my interview footage in the hopes that its message will inspire artists whether or not I am eventually able to finish the film. Please forgive the low quality sound and lighting, this is raw footage from my camera without any sound mixing or edits
