Preparations administered to produce immunity are called immunizing agents. They are known as Vaccines (contain either weakened or killed microorganisms (as viruses or bacteria), Toxoids (contain suspensions of modified toxins that have lost their toxicity but stimulating the formation of antitoxins) & Antiserums (used when there is no time to wait for the body of the infected person to produce its own Abs. Examples are tetanus, immune globulin, and rabies). In this video, we need to explain what are the types and classifications of immunizing agents. Also, we'll explain the bacterial and viral vaccines including COVID-19 vaccines.
