We are heading into a section dealing with streamlines and an important tool called the stream function. However, before we can get there we need to understand why we will need these tools. The answer is simple flow visualization. In Aerodynamics, being able to see how your flow moves gives you an enormous amount of information about it. Everything we develop in this section will be focused on giving us the tools to visualize our flows.
