Importing a PDF as a vector image into Sketchup can be done quickly and efficiently via the use of Inkscape. PlusSpec and PlusDesignBuild both have multipage PDF Importers that enable you to bring in PDFs on all axis inside of Sketchup, however, in some instances, you'll want your PDF to have snap points or vector lines. This video will show you how to import a PDF into InkScape and how to export the PDF as a DXF file ready to use inside Sketchup pro. This can save you hours of time tracing a plan, redrafting or estimating inside of PlusDesignBuild and PlusSpec.
