PowerMill 2021.1 can now produce toolpaths with better quality arc-fitting, resulting in files with more, larger arc spans and fewer points. This gives CAM programmers greater control of the data they produce for their CNC machines. Better arc-fitting can result in smoother, faster machine motion and improved surface finish - especially on older machines that may struggle to run programs containing many tightly spaced points.
