In this video I do a quick upgrade to a set of Altec Lansing 887A Capri speakers (Also known as the Mini Monitor II). I replaced the stock speaker connections with new binding posts and replaced the resistor and capacitor in the crossover with Dayton Audio components. They are also listed for sale on my eBay account here: https://shorturl.at/tGRXY I purchased all of the parts for the crossover from Parts Express 3uF capacitors: https://shorturl.at/kQY89 10 Ohm resistor: https://shorturl.at/noHVW I found the binding posts on Amazon, just a typical insulated gold plated post, nothing special. There's plenty of room for most any binding post. Just make sure they aren't too long so that they don't stick out from the back of the speaker very far. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• My name is Matt. I live in Washington State and create content around vintage stereos and other audio equipment. I approach the hobby from the standpoint of appreciating the aesthetic as well as having a system that is enjoyable to listen to my favorite music on. I'm not generally spending time worrying about having the right cables or how good the speakers sound beyond a certain point. So long as the music sounds good enough to dance to, I'm happy. If you have a receiver that you would like serviced, drop a comment and we could talk about service costs. IG and Tik Tok are @TheDealyDeal
