Quick demo and test of iNav's Wind Indicator by comparing against Air Speed and Ground Speed.
When flying into wind the Air Speed should be greater than Ground Speed by the same amount as the indicated wind strength.
When flying with the wind the Air Speed should be less than Ground Speed by the same amount as the indicated wind strength.
When flying with wind abeam the Air Speed should be about same as Ground Speed (for low wind strength).
Conclusions:
Wind direction indication seems very good.
Wind strength indication perhaps not quite as good but still useful. Possibly impacted by gusts.
