The art is great, the basics of combat are there, but everything is done is the worst way. Finishers are extremely unresponsive, attacks hurl you into traps, most traps instantly kill you, enemies can block, dodge, and ignore your attacks with almost no indicator and no explanation. The video has more direct feedback and overall I would not recommend this game in its current state. The chi boils in your blood. Neither hunters nor yōkai will stop you from finding your sister. To complete your goal, you will have to set out on an dangerous adventure into the lands of the Human Empire. Furious action. Tear foes apart with your bare hands; dice them with a sword; squash them with a hammer, and use bloody finishers to end their lives. Fight your way through hordes of enemies. Master NINKO powers. The energy of chi permeates through all life and grants you inhuman powers. Learn unique skills and moves to harness your chi in battle. Japanese vibes. The setting of Heart Abyss is inspired by the Japanese culture and mythology. Meet creatures of legend; becoming their friends or tearing them to pieces. Nobody will stop you. The goal of this video is to show a blind run of my first time playing the game while giving commentary about the experience.
